The Costa Daurada, a place of never-ending possibilities

Tarragona province has 92 kilometres of coastline with beaches of fine golden sand and crystal clear blue waters that shelve gently into the sea.

In the south you will find the rich natural and human scenery of the Ebro Delta Natural Park and Nature Reserve.
Many different peoples have left their imprint on the landscape and culture of these lands. That is why you will find magnificent archaeological remains such as the Iberian citadel of Calafell and the Roman monuments of Tarraco. From more recent periods are the monasteries of the Cistercian Route and the many buildings in the Modernist architectural style to be found in towns all over the province.
Aficionados of the fermented grape will enjoy the high quality wines from any of the province’s six designations of origin. The great architectural beauty of the historical cooperative wineries has led many of them to be catalogued as Assets of Cultural Interest.
The Costa Daurada also offers visitors a huge variety of leisure and sporting activities, including golf, water sports and theme and aquatic parks.
